I have a very simple solution to this problem:
If Alglenne does not like the way I like to discuss things, then I won't discuss things with him anymore.
I would like to mention something for the sake of anyone who is interested. I had not considered the possibility that his argument contained the logical fallacy of equivocation until Alglenne himself mentioned in post 15 that it depends on how we define the word "respect". Prior to that I had been assuming that he was using the evaluative definition of the word throughout his argument (the one I immediately think of when I hear the word) and I had been arguing against his premises. And even after I brought up the possibility of equivocation I gave Alglenne the opportunity to explain whether he was using the same definition of the word throughout his argument or not, and asked him what definition of the word he was using.
